Gen is a solutions-focused water infrastructure consultant with 30-years’ experience in local government. She is a clear and confident communicator with expertise in providing quality advice for effectively managing complex issues. The last three years have been spent navigating water reform.

Gen works alongside senior teams, building trust relationships towards the delivery of practical and innovative thinking and documentation at both a strategic and operational technical level.

Gen is professionally curious and genuinely seeks to understand how things work and how change may affect current workflow. With that understanding, she enjoys engaging with people to explore project impacts and opportunities. Often, clients are clear about the potential causes of problems and have preferences for how to move forward – Gen makes that journey rewarding.

Gen lives in Te Horo amongst the sea breeze, bees and ducks. She has two emergent adult children whom she adores.
